Local Lawmaker Gives Thoughts on Upcoming Midterms

With the midterm elections less than two weeks away, one local lawmaker gave his opinion regarding national elections taking place that could shape the House and Senate for the next two years.

District 57 Oklahoma House of Representative Anthony Moore (R – Clinton) says he feels the House will favor the Republican Party however the race for certain Senate races could be much more volatile.

Moore also says locally outside of the race for Governor, the race for State Superintendent of Public Instruction between Republican Ryan Walters and Democrat Jena Nelson could be interesting as well.

Current Superintendent Joy Hofmeister is running for Governor against incumbent Kevin Stitt.

The midterm, general election is November 8.
