Locals Will Compete For Miss SWOSU

Twelve Southwestern Oklahoma State University coeds will compete for the title of Miss SWOSU at this year’s competition on Saturday, January 14, at 7 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center on the Weatherford campus.

And like past pageants, this year’s event will be well represented by young ladies from western Oklahoma.

Among the twelve vying for the title of Miss SWOSU, Kaysa Carpenter from Cordell, Carrington Kohout of Thomas, Gabrielle Miles of Gotebo, and Megan Bradley from Leedey will be competing.

This year’s event will see SWOSU crown it’s 65th Miss SWOSU titleholder and its 14th Miss SWOSU’s Outstanding Teen.

Tickets are available from any of the candidates as well as the SWOSU Public Relations/Marketing Office in room 205 of the Administration Building. Tickets are $10 for the public and $5 for individuals with an SWOSU ID card. All tickets at the door will be $15.
