A Weatherford teen was injured and hospitalized after being involved in a two vehicle accident last week in Jackson County.

According to the collision report provided by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident took place on Zinn Avenue and Hughes Drive, in Blair on Saturday night when the 1998 GMC Sierra 1500 that 18-year-old Lillie Janisse was riding in struck a 2012 Ford F-150 while attempting to make a turn.

According to the report, the F-150 did not have it’s headlights on, and the driver of the Sierra was unable to see it.

As a result, Janisse was taking to Jackson County Memorial in Altus where she was admitted in stable condition with a head injury. The driver was not injured.

Both occupants of the F-150 were treated and released at Jackson County Memorial.
