Now that the dust has settled after a frantic filing period for public office in the State of Oklahoma, potential candidates are now focusing on their upcoming campaigns.
The majority of campaigns in western Oklahoma will be quick, due to the fact that mostly republicans have filed for seats.
One race that developed last week is for the District 57 seat in the House of Representatives. Incumbent Anthony Moore of Clinton, who is currently in his second year of his first term as the representative, will be challenged by retired businesswoman Kristen Kelly Poission of Weatherford.
Moore reacts to getting ready for another campaign.
Voters will decide between the two candidates during the Primary Election on June 28.
We’ll hear more from the two candidates regarding their platforms tomorrow (Wednesday).
