School Board Races To Be Decided Tuesday

The election year continues tomorrow with local school board races being decided.

One of the region’s larger school district will also be asking voters to approve a bond issue as well.

Clinton appears to be one of the busiest communities tomorrow with a school board race for seat number 4 happening between CaraLea Kreizenbeck and Charlene Wassana. The Clinton School District will also hold a special election seeking approval for a $2.025 million bond proposition that will go towards various school improvements.

Also in Clinton, city voters will be asked to renew the franchise agreement with Oklahoma Natural Gas and the City of Clinton for an additional 25-year period.

Two school board seats will be decided in Weatherford and Cordell tomorrow as well.

Starting in Weatherford, Brandy Chase and Matt Fast are running for Ward 1, while Kyle King and Lisa Grant are running for Ward 4.

In Cordell, Parker Christian and Cole Gregg will face off for School Board Office Number 3, and Levi Jones will square off against Danielle Dick Ivey for Office Number 4.

Elsewhere, Amber Aker and Nathan Torrance will compete for School Board Office Number 4 in Hammon.

Tomorrow’s polls will be open between 7 a.m and 7 p.m.
