Beckham County Sheriff Derek Manning reminds area residents that construction work on a bridge is underway in Elk City and advises motorists to chose an alternate route and avoid the area.
He says the work is being done on the bridge on Lakeview Road, west of the “T” intersection of S. Randall Avenue.
Another road closer in the area motorists need to be aware of includes the intersection of 7th Street and S. Main where the water line replacement project is taking place.
