A Weatherford woman and El Reno man are accused of stabbing a woman during a dispute earlier this month.

Court records show that 39-year-old Dacia Jill Penn and 37-year-old Sean David Penn were both arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon after the incident took place inside a Weatherford home on July 9.

A probable cause affidavit said that the Custer County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a disturbance at the home, and when they arrived they found a woman with an apparent stab wound. It was later discovered by paramedics that she also had a stab wound to her shoulder and was ultimately taken to an Oklahoma City hospital.

Deputies would find and detain Sean Penn while on the scene.

After obtaining a search warrant, authorities entered the home and found a steak knife with blood on it, and observed blood on a nearby wall.

The court document said that during an interview with the victim, she would tell a deputy that both suspects were living with her and had become upset when she told them to leave.

She claimed that Dacia Penn initiated the attack and Sean Penn would later join in. She said that’s when she felt someone stabbing her.

The affidavit stated that the victim had suffered four stab wounds, three in her neck and one in her right shoulder.

Later a deputy would return to the residence to make contact with Dacia Penn but met with a female subject claiming to be someone else, however she would later admit she was really Penn.

Along with the felony charge – Dacia Penn also received an obstruction charge.
