Traffic Stop Leads to Discovery of Large Amount of Meth

Twenty-three pounds of methamphetamine were found inside a car’s doors during a traffic stop in Shamrock, Texas recently.

The Wheeler County Sheriff’s Office said a driver ran a stop stop sign early Friday morning at Highway 83 and Route 66.

During a probable cause search of the car, deputies found approximately 23 pounds of methamphetamine.

Authorities said the methamphetamine was concealed in the doors of the vehicle.

Everyone in the car was charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance PG1 over 400 grams.
