A two vehicle accident west of Elk City has put two people in the hospital.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on State Highway 6, 4 miles west of Elk City in Beckham County on Saturday night when, while traveling eastbound, the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox driven by 18-year-old Karly Bryce Easter of Sayre attempted to turn left onto a county road but was struck by the 2013 Nissan Altima driven by 38-year-old Susan Jane Davidson of Mangum.
The collision caused the Equinox to roll a quarter time, ejecting a passenger, 18-year old Courtney Stallings of Sayre. Stallings was transported by Elk City EMS to Great Plains Regional Medical Center and admitted in stable condition with trunk internal and leg injuries. The driver, Easter, was treated and released at the hospital with a hand injury.
Davidson was air lifted to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where she was admitted in stable condition with trunk internal injuries.
