Paul Joseph

Paul is a 13-year economic developer and Certified Chamber Executive.  His education, experience and interest include economic development and is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute (OU/EDI).  Paul is also a graduate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management at Notre Dame.  In 2009, Paul was instrumental in forming the Southwest Kansas Chambers of Commerce, a partnership of six, independent and fully-staffed Chambers of Commerce representing 1,800 members.  He served two consecutive years as president of the organization.  In 2008, Paul led the Chamber to publicly endorse the passage of a $91 million school bond approved by voters.  Prior to that, Paul worked for two years at the City of Highland, Illinois as as economic & community developer.  He laid the foundation for the city’s first-ever TIF district (Tax Incremental Finance).  Before going to Highland, Paul served eight years as President/CEO of the Siloam Springs, Arkansas Chamber of Commerce where he oversaw a 315% increase in the Chamber’s budget and a 63% net membership increase.  Before leading the Siloam Springs Chamber of Commerce, Paul spent five years as a realtor with Ward Jones, Realtors, Inc. in Siloam Springs, where, additionally, he was the recognized as a “Million Dollar Seller.”  Since hailing as King of the news here in Elk City, OK, Paul won the 1st place Associated Press Broadcasters Award with Best Reporter Portfolio in 2014 and the Outstanding Achievement Broadcasting Award in 2015.
