HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL PLAYOFFS RETURN TOMORROW 

The High School Basketball playoffs restart tomorrow afternoon in various locations all across Oklahoma. Class 2A-A-B are in the Area Tournament, while 3A-4A will play Regional Tournaments. In Class 4A, Elk City makes the short trip down I-40 to Weatherford for regional contests. The Big Elks season will be on the line against the Cache Bulldogs. Cache defeated the Elks a couple weeks ago after trailing by a point headed into the 4th quarter. That one will tip at 2:30. The Elkettes are in the winner’s bracket against Wford. Elk City defeated Wford 65-54 just over a month ago. That one will tip at 6:00. If you can’t make the trip to wford no worries I’ll have it live streamed on bigelktv.com. 

Paragontv will have a handful of games tomorrow as well. At 1:00 the Merritt Oilerettes take on the Wilson Lady Eagles in the Class 2A Area Consolation tournament at Chickasha. 2:30 will bring the Erick Bearcats and Sentinel Bulldogs in Class B Boys Area Consolation action from Bridge Creek. The evening sessions has a pair of girls games. In Class A C-R faces Okay from Stroud. In Class B it’s Leedey and Shidler in Enid. You can watch 4 of these Area Consolation tilts on paragontv.com 

OSU PULLS OFF MASSIVE UPSET; OU WELCOMES KENTUCKY TONIGHT 

It was just like the good ole days last night inside Gallagher-Iba Arena for the OSU Men’s hoops squad. The Cowboys jumped out to an early lead against #9 Iowa St and held off the hard charging Cyclones down the stretch in a 74-68 upset win. Oklahoma St evens their overall record at 14-14. Oklahoma has another chance to bolster their NCAA Tournament resume tonight inside the Lloyd Noble Center. For the first time in program history OU will welcome Big Blue Nation to Norman. Kentucky’s ranked 17th in this week’s poll. 

THUNDER ON THE WEST COAST TONIGHT 

The Ok City Thunder are back on the road tonight, this time on the East Coast in Brooklyn. OKC’s coming off a loss on Monday night in which they blew a 24 point 4th quarter lead. That loss snapped a league wide winning streak of 1552 straight games when a team led by 24+ in the 4th quarter. You can hear Thunder/Nets tonight on 98.1fm and 1240 am. Pregame gets going at 5 with the tip a little earlier at 6:30
