Meanwhile, the Canute Trojanettes faced a tough opponent in the Washington Warriors, unfortunately falling short with a final score of 11-7. But don’t worry, Canute still has a shot at redemption! They’ll be playing an elimination game tomorrow morning at 11 against Thomas.
Now, let’s move on to the 10U Tournament taking place in Wford. In the Blue bracket, the Canute Trojanettes had an impressive outing, dominating the Dibble Sole Sisters with a commanding 12-2 win. On the other diamond, the Cheyenne Spikes and Dale Pride are locked in an intense battle, currently tied at 7 and headed into extra innings. The winner of this matchup will face the formidable Canute team at 7:45. Exciting times ahead!
Shifting gears to the Red bracket, the Elk City Elkettes showcased their skills, outscoring the Okemah Future by two touchdowns, securing a convincing 21-7 victory. Their next opponent seems to be the Chickasha Bat Attitude, who are currently leading Cordell with an 8-1 advantage in the 5th inning. In Ada, the 12U tournament is heating up. The day started with a dominant performance from Leedey, who triumphed over Elmore City with an 8-1 win. The Elk City Elkettes, on the other hand, exploded with a massive 17-run first inning, resulting in a 19-3 victory over their opponents, thanks to the 3-inning run rule. Leedey and Elk City are now set to clash in a winner’s bracket game tonight at 7:45. Expect some high-octane softball action!
Finally, let’s touch on the 8U Baseball regional happening right here in Elk City. The Elk City Bombers showcased their power, defeating Lookeba-Sickels with a commanding 15-5 victory.
