Officials with the Elk City School District said they’ll be testing a new alert system.
Superintendent Mike Sparks says the test will be conducted Wednesday afternoon and is designed to reach parents via text, email, or even a phone call.
Sparks added that he encourages parents to download the district’s new app and to enable notifications on it as well.
